Senator Jack Reed Delivers the Democratic Radio Address

July 26, 2008 - Good morning, I’m Senator Jack Reed from Rhode Island. I have just returned from visiting with our troops and commanders in Afghanistan and Iraq. I had the opportunity to travel with a bipartisan delegation that included Senator Barack Obama and Republican Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska. The heroism and dedication of our men and women in uniform inspires us all.

MCCAIN WATCH: MCCAIN IS WRONG ON ISSUES IMPORTANT TO HISPANICS AND VETERANS

July 25, 2008 - Today John McCain will speak to Hispanic veterans at the American GI Forum's 60th National Conference in Denver. McCain's remarks come on the heels of a new Pew poll that shows him lagging far behind Obama among Hispanics. McCain trails Senator Obama by a margin of 43 points, 66 to 23 percent, among Hispanic voters. McCain is a full 18 points behind President Bush's level of support among Hispanic voters in 2004.
