This is why America needs to be convinced to vote for Democrats for President, Senate, and House of Representatives in 2008. I hope they add the Oil speech into the current ad for the Fall and any other speech titled Iraq.

You've got to get it played on abc, cbs and nbc during According To Jim we have got to reach the uneducated people of Detroit who, all of them that I know, say they are voting for McCain. Tie the war to the economy. Show them bridges and dams that have been neglected by 12 years of republican majorities in congress. Tell them republicans would rather build bridges in Iraq than here at home. And then ask them, who cares about america more those who took your jobs, brought you poisened dog food and toys or the party that brought jobs and safety to the US.

Is John McCain bad for America. You can bet on that. But is war bad for America? Only when this country can think about helping people instead of killing them. This country and its people has a bad history of loving war. This country is so used to killing to get what it wants it will never stop with wars I'm Afraid. I was hoping this country would change, but with McCain so high in the polls it looks like they want war and killing to keep on.

It is absolutely unbelievable that McCain thinks that America could possibly stay in Iraq, of all places, with permanent bases as a peacekeeping mission. After the RNC, the GOP and the Republican elected, each with their own political purposes have continued to wage a never ending war with insurgents and terrorists in the streets of Iraq?
If there needs to be an example of this war, it would be like Republican government calling U.S. Law enforcement agencies out for a shoot out with criminals in American streets at high noon each day. Saying that America’s war with crime will not be over until all the criminals participate in the streets and are dead or arrested! There the embarrassed American Public would have Republican leaders like McCain saying our war against crime could go on for one hundred years and law enforcement is going to stand in the streets and wait for the criminals?
I guess the RNC needs to find out the ‘harder way’ that their party definitely will not gain positive political attention for the Iraq war for the next hundred years like they gained from some of their Republican constituents in the last presidential election.
Does the GOP still think their party is going to ‘help’ the economy for the next hundred years by lobbying for U.S. oil companies by establishing permanent U.S. Military bases in Iraq that Republican officials can use to manipulate false pressure on the Iraqi Government for U.S. oil prices?
Do you think even the Iraqi Government buys that old Saudi/Soviet spin accusation anymore, that sometimes the U.S. Military will only help the Iraqi Government with certain military missions if Middle Eastern leaders keep oil prices to our liking? The Republican GOP can’t even use their false agenda spin anymore because Iraq knows it is in America’s international political interest to keep peace in Iraq for political reasons that are also ‘on the up and up’ now! Yes, the Republican officials killed their own type of dirty politics with oil with the Iraq war and that’s the only good politically that came out of the Iraq war as far as I am concerned.

America is convinced to vote for all Democrats instead of the Republican Party of dirty tricks.
Vote for OBama, he has most of Bill Clintons Cabinet members.
OBama will run his Policies similar to Bill Clinton. Remember the Surplus?
Hillary said her Policies will be quite different from Bill's Policies.

egis,
I disagree with you. McCain did say a hundred years of staying in Iraq. Because I listened to what he said in an interview on CNN. The American troops are still in Japan and Germany to this very day. I will not vote for an hot-tempered, senile, old man who belongs in a nursing home. I refuse to give this country to right-wing, free trade loving, Republican fascists.
